What does a prescription Oakley look like?
For most Oakley glasses, the entire lens is made to prescription. The only difference is that the lens will be a bit thicker, depending on your prescription. For the Radar EV, Radar, Radarlock, and Jawbreaker, it looks different. With these glasses, two smaller prescription lenses are inserted into the shield. This provides the same effect as a full prescription lens.
What prescriptions can an Oakley accommodate, and can Oakley also be progressive?
The prescriptions vary per pair of glasses. When you have questions about specific glasses, it is helpful to mention your prescription. If Oakley cannot make the lenses, we often have other alternatives so that the Oakley can still be made to prescription. Progressive lenses in an Oakley are also no problem. If you let us know your wishes and your prescription, we can tell you if it is indeed possible.
How much does a prescription Oakley cost?
If we use Oakley lenses for prescription, the price ranges from 400 to 800 euros (including the frame). This depends on the color of the lenses and whether the lenses need to be progressive.
